Suicide aint the cure for depression....
People i dun know... People i dun like are reading my blog... How? Hmmm.... Guess that as long as they remain harmless it shudnt be a problem...
As for dear Mr/Ms Ghandi... Thank you for dropping by to view my blog. And for sympathising w me. :) I really wish i had the power to change singapore and ensure that the indians are well sought after. But sadly, im not the daughter of president S.R. Nathan. Just the daughter of a humble Mr Jayaram Kathaperumal who is an ordinary man. Making a name for myself is wat i desire to do. But how to make a name for myself when nobody is willing to hire me simply becauseof reasons which i cant quite fathom. perhaps i could start my own company. But who would finance me? Biz partners anyone? Anyway, im looking for a part time job which does not have any CPF contribution. Now that narrows my jobscope even further. Im banned from working in restaurants plainly bcoz my mother feels that it is not moral for me to serve others alcohol( Apologies to waitresses or waiters who chance upon my blog. My mum is rather Old Skool.) People in the sales line refuse to take me either due to my inabilty to speak THE language or lack of THE colour... it is best that i contain myself and not go on any further at the risk of offending a certain majority. I never said that i am ashamed to be an indian. Infact, im downright proud to be one. But it depends vastly on how liberal the people around u are to accept the way u wish to lead life. I am proud of my rich culture and heritage. Proud to know that my mother tongue has been existing from way back. Proud to say that the rich dark colour of my skin is natural and not some rub on tanning lotion. Anyway, at least i know that i have enough melanin to protect me from skin cancers. But I detest the stereotype linked with how indian men are alcoholics, wife beaters and lecherous perverts. But it is sad to see in the papers that these stereotypes are supported by what is happening ard us today. :( I think the fate of the indians lies in the hands of everyone us indians Mr/Ms Ghandi... In our hands.... And it all depends on how we chose to lead our life. Im glad that the time for me to become a teacher is nearing. It is a respectable job. And pays well... And saves hella lotta trouble doing job hunting and getting worked up. And i will be given the honour to enrich the minds of our future. I think i had enough of ranting and raving... it is 2.11am in the morning... Good morning/Night people... Night for me... morning for some... ;)
